A senior sales role with an expanding and ambitious client.
Our client is a market leader in providing its products to Police forces and government organisations across the globe. They are a division of a government agency who are market leaders in providing services to Police forces throughout England and Wales.
The Role
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Export Sales practitioner to join the Organisation and take the lead in shaping the Sales & Marketing strategy for EMEA & ROW locations.
Our client is undergoing a huge period of transformation, to ensure the business is fit for purpose and able to compete in an ever increasingly competitive market.
The Export Sales Manager appointment, sits at the centre of this transformation, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in making sure the business has the right Sales & Marketing strategy to achieve continuing growth.
Some key responsibilities will include;
In conjunction with the Business Unit Manager, set sales objectives by product group and market.
Take personal responsibility for achieving sales objectives in export markets.
Ensure that the company fully understands its customers’ requirements.
Lead on customer contract, SLA and tendering activities in Export markets.
Produce monthly reports highlighting performance v plan and future opportunities.
Key requirements sought are;
Able to communicate at all levels of an organisation.
Can produce clear and concise action reports for all levels of the FSS and its customers.
Has a background in B2B and/or B2G sales and marketing activity.
Has the aptitude to understand the science associated with the use of it’s products.
Has experience in tender processes, legal negotiations and export selling through agents and distributors.
Is sufficiently financially aware to understand the concepts needed to set prices manage budgets and carry out investment appraisals.
Essential Requirements *
- You need international sales experience selling B2B and B2G (business to government).
- You must be prepared to travel and operate independently as required.
- You must be West Midlands based, or within a reasonable commute.
