Northamptonshire up to £55k OTE plus company benefits

Sales and distribution management with an Industry leading manufacturer.

The role of this position is to promote and expand the sale of the Companies products via effective management of our client’s existing distributor accounts and the introduction of new distributors worldwide.

Management, coaching and motivating the Export Sales Department staff and assessing/improving the strategy and procedures followed by this department.

Responsibilities and duties:

A. Contribute to formulation of export policy and strategy

B. Setting and monitoring distributor targets

C. Ensuring distributor and department targets are achieved

D. Distribution channel analysis and development

E. Select and manage new distribution channels

F. Negotiate distribution contracts

G. Oversee international market research, and suggest suitable new product ideas

H. Recruit, manage, train and motivate direct reporting staff.

I. Plan and implement export marketing strategy

J. Launch new products to distributors oversees and orchestrate distributor visits to the UK for launches and training

K. Monitor, record, analyse and report on activities, trends, results and recommendations relating to export activities.

L. Appropriate Administration, budgeting, communication and liaison.
For this role you will need the follwing requirements/experience:-

It is essential that you have a minimum of 3 years experience leading an export sales team. This must include managing others, not just selling.

Well organized

Good communicator

Willing to travel (approx 3 or 4 days out of country per month)

Live within easy commuting distance of Northamptonshire based office.

Proven track record in opening new export distributors
