Export Contract Manager REF: scm 629
An exciting new role with an established manufacturer.
This is a new role and our client has ambitious plans for an Export Sales Professional to build their Export business over the next 5 years by opening up new markets and developing the business.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in export, selling to distributors, mainly based in Europe and the Middle East and experience of working with medium sized contract customers and wholesalers within the UK (supplying regional companies).
Must have up to date knowledge of shipping procedures and relevant export documentation, excellent IT skills and be experienced in preparing for meetings with appropriate agendas, letters and quotations.
You will have worked within the pharmacy sector, selling OTC, food supplements or herbal products. Ideally educated to degree level, with a pharmaceutical or a nutritional background, possess good analytical skills and excellent communication and customer care skills.
Must be self driven, resilient, enthusiastic and able to communicate the opportunities to customers to enable a proactive approach to growing the business.
Good time management skills are essential as this role involves travelling mainly throughout UK & Europe and other countries e.g. Middle East if required to secure business. You will be home based with easy access to a major international airport. We anticipate that you would work from a home based office 2 -3 days per week, travel 2-3 days per week and visit head office in N.West England for one day a month.
A Competitive Basic salary & fully expensed car is available to the successful candidate. A commision structure is also in place together with other company benefits.
Essential Requirements *
- You must have international sales experience in the OTC/Pharmaceutical/Nutriceutical sector.
- You must be prepared to travel as required.
- You must be based within convenient distance of an International Airport.
